MOON IN VIRGO | CHITRA NAKSHATRA | April 13th: 1.22 am (BST)
Feeling ungrounded, swimming in a sea of chaos or uncertainty? Longing for structure, stability, and a clear mind and vision?
These are themes surfacing in the collective psyche, echoing Saturn’s recent transit into mystical, emotional mīna rāśi (Pisces).
During a Full Moon, we experience a culmination of inner fullness, the potency of Śakti, the divine feminine—often arriving with a heightened intensity. Directly opposite the Moon (a reflection of the manas, or mind) is the Sun, who illuminates what was hidden within our mental and emotional landscapes.
With Venus moving direct at the same time, expect relationships to come into focus. What do you notice about how you relate to others, and how your close connections perceive and receive you in return? You may still be tending to the cleanup of past relational dynamics.
Trust what is revealed during this Full Moon cycle.
Trust your intuitive knowings.
Rāhu, the shadow node, sitting within Pisces, expands blind spots and veils clarity, yet Śani (Saturn), also present here, supports you in establishing boundaries and stability to contain even the most disordered experiences.
Can you still show up—courageously, wholly—and surrender your expectations, along with the ever-chasing need for perfection?
The Full Moon in kanyā rāśi (Virgo), opposite the Sun in mīna (Pisces), reminds us to harmonise the spiritual and material.
Get organised. Create rhythm in your daily life. Your physical body is the temple of your spiritual Self—are you cultivating harmony across all layers of your being? Perhaps it’s time to purify certain aspects of the body, so the mind can reflect that clarity and anchor itself in satya (truth).
There’s an intensity brewing in Pisces—spiritual pressure—that can manifest as anxiety or disorientation in the body. Ground your energy.

What does one do with great Śakti, especially when it feels chaotic or unstable, so much so that we become unconscious of its impact on the material world?
Hanumān-jī’s kathā (story) offers the answer.
It is no coincidence that Hanuman Jayantī, the birth celebration of this great being, occurs just hours before this Full Moon in Chitrā Nakshatra.
The son of Vāyu (the Wind God) and an emanation of Lord Śiva, Hanumān-jī embodies the power of Bhakti Yoga. Through surrender and humility, raw power becomes divine service.
Hindus honour Hanumān-jī as the greatest devotee of Śrī Rāma, teaching us that with great power comes the need for even greater humility—not just to see clearly, but to act righteously. Dharma calls us to walk with self-control, empathy, and selfless service—not just for ourselves, but for all beings we impact.
Chitrā Nakshatra, ruled by Mars (Maṅgala), aligns with Hanumān-jī’s passionate and problem-solving nature. Governed by Viśvakarmā, the celestial architect of the Devas, Chitrā brings creative brilliance and the power to design, construct, and beautify. Its symbol, a diamond, reminds us that brilliance is revealed through carving and refinement.
You, too, are in the polishing process.
Your skills and talents, your Venusian Śakti, and your inner vision all matter. What will you now devote your energy to? What deserves your attention, commitment, and love?
Let whatever does not serve dharma fall away.
Prāṇa śakti, shraddhā, and courage; the steady fire of sādhana, will lead a path towards beauty and splendour.
A new beginning is within reach.
Listen to the Śrī Hanumān Cālīsā to bring ease to the mind, heart, and spirit at this sacred time.
ॐ हनुमते नमः॥ Om Hanumate Namaḥ॥
Rise Up, Warrior.
