Deep Emotional Cleansing: March 2023 New Moon Guidance + Journaling

Chaitra Amavasya, Pisces, Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra, 21st March

The moon is New in Meen rashi (Pisces) in Uttara Bhadrapada, the mystical and spiritual warrior-like nakshatra. Are you ready for the next phase of your life? Pisces is the 12th and last sign in the zodiac and speaks to things coming to an end, so that a new cycle, a new growth period and renewal can take place.

The energy of Uttara Bhadra is dark and intense not only because of Saturn as the planetary lord here, but because of its ruling deity, Ahir Bhudhanya, a water dragon or serpent of the deep cosmic waters whose consciousness pervades all worlds. He is a rudra, associated with mid-space (clouds) and possesses varshodyamana shakti, the

power to bring rain.

Expect rain fall, or sudden torrential rain, which mirrors a deep emotional release within.

Ahir Bhudhanya is connected to kundalini shakti, as well as the Goddess Lakshmi whose purpose is to provide stability and a strong foundation, so trust in the events that unfold and have patience as this pleases Saturn, allow a catharsis to play out — what is shaken up, will again stabilise.

The benefic Guru (Jupiter) not only lords Pisces but will be joining this star space along with Budha (Mercury) with the new moon — this is about surrendering to the depth of higher wisdom and knowledge that is attained through pure teachings, and the self-reflection and solitude that brings about awakenings of truth.

There is more optimism with this New Moon, despite the mystical energy of this dark underworld. Focus on doing the work, where it is needed, and play the long game for auspicious results. Plan your long-term goals and think of the successes you’ve already had through your creative thinking and intuitive powers.

Go within, spend some time alone, and believe in the depths of your potential to serve your highest purpose.

Vasant Navaratri arrives the day after the New Moon, where Devi shakti is enlivened, signaling Spring, and all feminine divine qualities. A good time to practice self-care, do some spring cleaning and welcome the Goddess into your home for abundance and prosperity.

On 28th March, Jupiter moves into Aries, where Rahu currently is, forming Guru Chandal Yoga, until the end of October. Expect change and some struggle. See below for the oracle I pulled before this write up!!! Ganesha mantras, pooja and rituals will be a remedy for this challenging time period.

NEW MOON INTENTIONS

Renew your sense of optimism and determination for new ventures.

Relinquish the excuses born of the mind — the old conditioning, and trust what feels good, in your heart, in your body. For the lack of a better phrase, use the shit, for the shift!! Some effort and alone time is required.

Go within. Swim to your depths to collect the wisdom that will aid you.

JOURNAL THIS:

What is not a priority right now? What is not working?

What can I let go of and remove from my life?

What new intentions and aspirations am I moving towards?

What is my focus for the next 30 days?
