NOVEMBER REVIEW AND GOAL SETTING RITUAL | VEDIC ASTROLOGY
As the New Moon arrives on December 1st in Scorpio, what better time to slow down, turn inward, and reflect on what’s working and what feels misaligned through the power of journaling! Feeling broody? Vṛścika, or Scorpio, energy is brilliant for inner excavation.
Ruled by Mars, Scorpio invites us to delve deep beneath the surface, confronting hidden emotions and uncovering the truths that lie within. This is a time to explore the unseen, the unspoken, and the unresolved.
With Mercury and Jupiter both currently in retrograde, there’s a heightened focus on re-evaluation and the process of discrimination — the ability to discern what is true, meaningful, and aligned with your higher purpose.
Journaling during this time can serve as a powerful tool to help you navigate these transformative depths with intention and clarity.
In my monthly journaling ritual, I guide you through a 7-step process to clear your mind and embody your goals and intentions for the weeks ahead. In November’s session, you’ll plan your 3–6 month goals and write with me in real time!
We conclude with a special future visualisation meditation to help you manifest your vision. If you truly desire something (kama), it is likely tied to your karma; however, its manifestation depends on divine timing (kala), your readiness, and karma phala (the ripened fruits of past actions). (I discuss this concept further in September's Ritual on my Youtube channel).
This is your moment to lean into your true needs, create space for contemplation and solitude, and align your actions with the path that feels most authentic to you.

NEW MOON IN SCORPIO, ANURADHA NAKSHATRA
NEW MOON TIMINGS: December 1st, 6:21 am (UK)
The Moon in Scorpio is debilitated, which may bring a sense of vulnerability and a desire to protect your sensitive boundaries.
Scorpio’s intensity often compels us to confront deeper emotions. Anuradha nakshatra, ruled by Mitra, the God of Friendship, carries a quality of spiritual devotion and connection. This is a time to tend to your feelings, root out negative thoughts, and, like the lotus — symbolic of Anuradha — use your struggles, the muck, and even the darkness as motivation for transformation. Bloom towards the light, towards liberation from toxic patterns and possessive attachments.
Anuradha offers the courage to transform emotional challenges into opportunities for devotion and spiritual growth. In this process, you realise that you are either your own enemy or your own divine friend.
NEW MOON INTENTIONS:
During this New Moon cycle, slow down and practice self reflection. Meet your own needs without projecting your emotions onto others. Cultivate self-loyalty, and transform toxic relationship attachments into divine surrender and devotion (bhakti).
